A lot has changed, and to help you plan your next “New Normal” event, we have put together a handy checklist to use in your planning.

Determine the main goal and primary objectives you want to achieve by holding this event. Consider how the event fits into the company strategy.
Create an audience persona; this will help you to determine what tone you should set and what the takeaways will be.
Define your budget, in line-item format. Get approval on pricing.
Build your team; allocate responsibilities; establish a schedule for planning meetings.
Decide on a date and venue location. Consider a hybrid model.
 Plan the event layout. Keeping distancing guidelines in play.
Select your swag items.
Create your event marketing strategy.
Outline your plan in writing, use timelines and allow for potential delays or technical issues.
 Book accommodations and any transportation requirements
 Plan menus, meals, and refreshments. Keep dietary restrictions in mind.
Design and print event collateral.
Confirm or recruit event staffing and finalize contract.
Perform follow up with attendees post event to thank them for attending and provide key takeaways.
Conduct Surveys and collate final costing and any important notes for future reference.
